Hammo is a freelance illustrator and mural painter based in Manchester
I was asked by Monorex to produce some sandwich illustrations for Greggs bakers for their recent Fresh Billboard campaign.
Over the course of a week, each of the sandwiches was painted up on a huge billboard on London’s Old Street by the dudes at High Rise Murals while onlookers tweeted Greggs, guessing what the new sandwich could be to win prizes. Yummo!
I was approached recently by a lovely local dude called Gaz, to produce some images for his Twitch channel. Gaz, (AKA Break71) plays Day Z (a sprawling, multiplayer, open world zombie survival game), streaming live, five days a week to his 7000+ followers. He needed three illustrations – a main image, showing him dispatching an approaching horde, an ‘Offline” image to display when he’s not streaming, and a “Setting Up” image featuring a TV screen where his live webcam feed can be shown.
Gaz is looking to set himself up as a full time streamer (people can actually make a living from this! It’s like the future!) so if you’re into this sort of stuff go and have a look at his Twitch and YouTube channels, and if you like what you see you can donate or subscribe so he can keep doing what he loves!
Sorry things have been a little quiet here lately. I’ve not had much of a chance to draw anything too exciting (or anything that I can show off) recently. But as it is Draw a Bird Day I thought I should do a quick little something. See if you can guess what it is.
Update: I did a Bullfinch too.
I did a bit of illustration work for the lovely folk at JD Sports, for their Back to School campaign. Posters and print ads have started popping up, as have window displays such as these in the Trafford Centre, featuring my backgrounds and various swirls and swooshes. Keep an eye out for them.
Apologies for the lull in activity over here of late. There has been a recent new addition to the Hammo household. She is utterly fantastic!
And she can levitate.
